Position Summary:

Supports the Human Resources functions in an entry level professional capacity, primarily in Benefits Administration and

Essential Job Duties:

Enter all discipline notices into SAP for tracking.
Handles all benefits enrollments and changes interfacing with new and existing employees and on-line systems
Resolves claims/ID card/COBRA issues including thorough analysis of situations, paperwork, systems, eligibility, SPDs, vendors and employees.
Reconciles monthly invoices for payment to carriers or benefits consolidator.
Audits systems of the various providers to Ceridian Dayforce to insure consistency and accuracy of employee benefits information including extensive and detailed, cross-referencing to assure both systems were in sync. Audited COBRA report assuring COBRA administrator is in sync with other benefits plans
Deals appropriately with highly confidential HIPPA protected information on employee health issues
Handles sensitive situations, like employee death, with appropriate behaviors and concern
Keeps benefits files, including 401(k) files, in order and up-to-date
Writes correspondence in the form of letters, e-mails or standardized forms to apply for benefits or resolve benefits issues.
Has an excellent ability to quality check details in all aspects of benefits. Provides full back-up support for Payroll Administrator and other HR Administrator.
Processes changes to deductions including 401(K), United Way, etc.
Minimum Work Experience and Educational Requirements :

2+ years of related human resources experience
Strong PC skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good verbal and written communication skills
Very good interpersonal skills
Preferred Work Experience and Educational Requirements :

Experience in other areas of Human Resources, Payroll, Administration or Operations
